Skeleton leaves are real tree leaves. They are harvested and soaked for several days in a special liquid solution that will slowly dissolve the flesh from the leaf. Once the pulp is gone, the leaves are washed, dried, and then dyed, showcasing the beautiful and complex natural pattern of the leaf.
